Set in the 1940's, Bomb Girls is a six-part series that follows the lives of a group of women working in a munitions factory building bombs for the Allied forces.
Shot on Arri Alexa, the cinematographer (Eric Cayla) set LUTS with Walt before principal photography and the look was applied for on set monitoring as well as dailies for editorial. In the final colour sessions we referenced the LUTS but started from raw to create our own version of a 2 strip print process with a slight print bleach look to it reducing the latitude and softening the highlights. This achieved the contemporary but vintage look of the show.
